This accessibility statement applies to www.ecitb.com, which is run by the Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB).

We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website, with text that should be as simple as possible to understand.

All content is created to meet the WGAG 2.2 accessibility standards, and is made to be compatible with assistive technology.

We aim for our website to be:

  • available to everyone including those with sight, hearing and motor impairment restrictions
  • clear and simple to understand with text that is easy to read and using colour combinations that provide reasonable contrast
  • easy to navigate with a coherent and consistent structure

For example, that means you should be able to:

  • zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen
  • navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
  • navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
  • listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)
