The 2024 ECITB Global Asia Pacific Training Provider Forum was held in The British Club in Bangkok, Thailand, on 12 December.
The event brought together Licensed Training Providers from across the region as well as guest speakers from Hydratight and Malaysia’s National Institute of Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH).
The event reinforced the Engineering Construction Industry Training Board’s (ECITB) ongoing commitment to the Asia Pacific area, with Licensed Training Providers from Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea participating alongside the ECITB’s International Commercial Team.
The forum featured a series of updates and presentations, while lively group discussion and feedback sessions filled the agenda and made for a successful event.

Norazman Bakrun, Manager of the Training Strategic Communication Division from NIOSH, gave an impassioned run through of the fantastic work and initiatives being implemented by NIOSH on behalf of the Malaysian Government.
ECITB Head of Commercial Tristan Kemp said: “There was really engaging and candid dialogue throughout the day and it was a welcome chance for all to share common challenges and opportunities.
