The event brought together training providers from across the region as well as representatives from Ashghal, which is the Qatari Government’s Public Works Authority.

The event highlighted the Engineering Construction Industry Training Board’s (ECITB) ongoing commitment to the Middle East, with Licensed Training Providers from Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, as well as a representative from India, participating alongside the ECITB’s International Commercial Team.

The Forum featured updates on ECITB Global’s operations, product development, auditing processes and a presentation on Mechanical Joint Integrity (MJI) by Hydratight’s Global Competency Technical Leader, Jason Barnard.

ECITB Head of Commercial Tristan Kemp said: “The event facilitated meaningful dialogue, allowing training providers to discuss shared challenges and opportunities.

“This gathering underscores the ECITB’s dedication to supporting and enhancing training standards across the Middle East, ensuring a high level of competence and safety in the region’s engineering construction and construction sectors.

“Our thanks go to all our delegates and my colleagues in the ECITB for making the event possible.”
