Training and testing at Foundation Level for the ECITB’s world-leading International Health and Safety Passport (IHSP) is now available fully online, making it more convenient and cost effective than ever to enhance the level of safety knowledge on your engineering construction sites.
The Passport ensures that individuals possess a recognised level of knowledge and awareness and is quality assured by the UK’s Government skills body for engineering construction industry, the ECITB.
Available exclusively through training partners around the world through the organisation’s international arm, ECITB Global, the high-quality training and testing is available now and is suitable for all levels of the workforce.
The e-IHSP Course content is the same as the face-to-face version of the course and it mirrors the CCNSG Safety Course that has underpinned site safety across UK industry for many years, and which is issued to tens-of-thousands of learners a year.
Once successfully through the fully proctored final assessment, candidates receive a photographic passport card and certificate to show they can work safely on sites across a multitude of industry sectors, assuring their competence to supervisors and managers. Completing the Foundation Level course can then lead to the Advanced and Supervisor Levels.
Tristan Kemp, Head of ECITB Global, said: “It’s great news that the ECITB’s highly-respected health and safety passport is available to employers in such a convenient and cost-effective format, powered by a leading-edge online training and testing platform.
“We know safe sites are more productive and more attractive to workers, investors and clients alike, and with health and safety now a legal obligation in an increasing number of countries, it is a great time to secure the wellbeing of all levels of your workforce.”
